If
you want to touch Rome’s sky, in its more sacred side, the
one close to the Vatican and to the ancient Rione Borgo, to admire
the sunsets over Saint Peter Dome (500 mts far) or to see from
a privileged position the Sunday Angelus of the Pope, this apartment
is the experience you cannot loose coming in Rome.
It is a 25 sqm penthouse studio + 25 sqm terrace furnished with
a teak wood table, a large umbrella and wooden beds. The terrace
faces the historical Passetto, the passage inside the wall used
by the Popes to leave the Vatican during the Middle Age in case
of danger and to take shelter inside Castel Sant’Angelo
Fortress.
The whole studio apartment’s ceiling is composed with its
original wooden beams, while the floor is all parquet.
The equipment include a double sofabed very easy to open and close,
a wooden table and a laquered kitchennette fitted with 2 electric
plates and fridge with freezer.
But the best are the three windows and the door-window to the
terrace that make the apartment full of light and with a wonderful
view. On one side the Vatican with the impressive Saint Peter
Dome and a part of Bernini’s Colonnade and on the other
side the Palazzo di Giustizia and Castel Sant’Angelo.
The mystical atmosphere of these places will help you in the “Ascension”
to the fourth floor without the help of a lift….
